Our Workmanship is Guaranteed
Herbert Street Allora across from the Mary Poppins House is the only place you need to go when vehicle repairs are needed – WILSON AND RIGBY Smash Repairs.
Since its inception in 1946, Wilson & Rigby has served the motoring community of the Allora District, fixing cars, employing locals and standing the test of time.
Current owners Peter and Anne Morton, purchased the business over 12 years ago maintaining high standards whilst ensuring their techniques and quality products met the innovation and technological developments of the automotive industry.
Customers know they are in good hands as Peter originally from East Greenmount, completed his trade as a spray-painter, before spending some time as rep for a major paint company. It is through these experiences Peter has strived to deliver the highest quality Smash Repair services which are combined with his country service attitude.
When you drop in for your quote no stone is left unturned and what you need is given through education, knowledge and experience. Peter prides himself on his customer service skills and you will always understand what your vehicle needs after discussing it with Peter.

Industry Info Conferance – The National Collision Repair Forum – Held in July 2016 in Melbourne
Team – Peter as a dual qualified tradesman (Spray Painting/Panel Beating) leads a team of qualified staff. Through training with ICAR and OEM manufactures our workshop ensures our technical knowledge and skills continue to meet their many certifications and regulatory standards.
Facility Size – Since purchasing the business from Bruce Wilson in 2005, Peter and Anne have upgraded the premises to allow for increased capacity, efficiency and job scope by doubling the floor space capacity and updating the workshop tools and equipment. The constructing of 170 sq.m. custom-built paint shed capable of heavy vehicle access and increased paint preparation areas now complements their low-bake oven booth. In 2016 further improvements saw the re-concreting of the panel shed floor and the installation of a 2nd chassis alignment machine an Auto Liner Speed Bench.
At Wilson and Rigby they understand the panel industry, are highly experienced in Insurance Claim Lodgement and are committed to giving their customers a professional and quality result every time. This is made possible with ICAR, Car Craft Accident Repair Centres, MTAQ Motor Trades Association of Queensland, these are just some of the associations WILSON AND RIGBY Smash Repairs align themselves with. This means that the customers enjoy the benefits of experience and modern technology.
The Car Craft Group is a cooperative of independent accident repair centres committed to the provision of high quality accident repair and automotive services.
Car Craft is focused on raising the standards and improving customer experience while ensuring the future development of an independent Australian motor body repair industry.
Wilson and Rigby Share the Car Craft Mission and will continue to grow and enforce these values.
